I am learning to write a narrative.   I am proud of my description of my character   My next learning is to try to let my character speak.

In this photo i am holding my flower art.  I like my art because of the patterns .  I am proud of my art. 

Relate to characters

                                                                                 My Reflection
I am learning to relate to the characters in the text. Some characters traits were easy to find. Some were more tricky to find. I had to read carefully.  My next learning is to think about characters in stories where there are move than two charters. I could try to compare characters. 

Extending Knowledge of Vocabulary

I am learning to extend my knowledge of new vocabulary. I can look up the meaning of new words in the dictionary. It helped when i read the word in a sentence. Next I will carry on to find the meaning of new words.

Persuasive Writing

My reflection I am learning persuasive writing. I am most proud of my conclusion.  Next I should try to write better evidence to support my reasons.

Fractions

  My Reflection

I am learning to find fractions of a set  by equal sharing .  I can now use multiplication facts to solve these problems .  My next step is to continue to use multiplication facts to solve these problems and more more complicated problems.

Learning to link ideas

My Reflection

I  am learning to link ideas (explicit and implicit) in the text to give a grater understanding.  It was tricky to give reasons for the implicit information I had to re read the text carefully my next step is to practise reading carefully to find information.       

Near Doubles

I am learning to use my knowledge of doubles to work out problems with near doubles.  My next steps is to learn my halves.

Explanation Writing

My Reflection

I can make my audience understand my writing better by detail I am learning how to write an explanation. My next steps is to work on a more complicated explanation.

I am learning to write a recount. I am most proud of my introduction.  My next learning step is to write a good conclusion. 

Parts of a Graph

My Reflection

I am learning the parts of a graph. It was hard to put the labels in the right place.  I had to listen carefully when we were watching the slideshow.  My next steps would be to practise creating my own graph.
