this is my Pepeha art. a pepeha is a way of interdosing yourself in maori. i have interdising my
maunga mountain my awa is my river my culter and a place which  is spechel to me. My favourite part of this was colouring my maunga. I enjoyed this art. 

My Antonym Diamante Peom

my reflection
i have been  learning to write an antonym diamante poem.  An antonym is a word that is the opposite. A diamante poem is a poem that is a shaped like a diamond.  i found this hard because you had to do the shape of a diamond witch was quit trekey my next steps are to chose opposite words.

I have been learning to collect data using tally chart and show the results on a bar graph I found this easy because you just had to go around and asking people in the class and tipe number 1 and then do a striketthow. I  wasn suprised with the results becuse star had more thin the others.  My next steps is to show  the data  on differnt  tyups of graphs.

Softball Skills

Yesterday we had softball skills and i felt t good because i did a big hit.

i have been learning to use metaphors to make it more interesting by making pictures in the readers head
i found this work easy because just write the ideas.  My next step is to use more metaphors in my writing.

We have learning to write a biopoem.  A biopoem  is a poem written about ourselves.  It has a special structure that we had to use to write our poems.  I found this hard because it was hard to think of ideas.  My next step is to make sure my poem is in the right order.

My Welcome post 2017

Welcome to my Year 4 learning blog.  This year i am in room 12 and my Teacher is MRS Melville.  i enjoy playing rugby with my team.  This year I am looking forward to doing heaps of writing. I hope you will enjoy my blog and leave lots of feedback.
